09/18/2009 9-18 Minutes Correction Rita Johnson
  Time: 9-12
  Location: Middlebury College
  Details: A few clarifications:

**The grant that BPHC applied for is a collaboration between VCAN and the Burlington Partnership, and the funds will come from the Federal Department of Education. BPHC applied for approx. $326,000 that will be used over 2 years. The trainings will be available to all VT colleges/universities for Social Norms Marketing, with additional funds available to the 11 colleges who participated in the CORE survey to implement a social norms marketing campaign on their campus.

BPHC will hear about whether they get the funds in Oct., but implementation will probably not start until early winter. Area coalitions will not be the contacts for this grant and its projects - VCAN will.

BPHC is also already helping to fund social norms campaigns on UVM and Champlain campus through other funding. This is not part of the Dept. of Edcuation grant.

**There is a statement in the minutes that 90% of students do not drink on the UVM campus; this should be 90% DO drink.
